Kabul: At least 14 people, including seven security officials, were killed in a Taliban ambush in Zabul province of Afghanistan, local media reports said.
The incident took place when Taliban affiliated militants attacked a security check post on the highway near Qalat city of Zabul province.
Two other policemen were injured in the attack.
The Taliban too lost seven of its men.
The group is yet to comment on the report.
