State of Health Bangladesh: COVID19 death toll crosses 4000

Dhaka: Bangladesh registered 45 new deaths due to COVID19 as the death toll due to the disease now surpassed 4,000, media reports said.
The government said 45 new fatalities were registered in the 24 hours to 8 am Tuesday, taking the total to 4,028, reports bdnews24.
The caseload surged to 299,628 after 2,545 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the same period, according to data released by the health directorate, reported the news portal.
During the past 24 hours, 3,881 patients have recovered from the disease.
