Hong Kong: Pro democracy lawmakers Lam Cheuk-ting and Hui Chi-fung were arrested by Hong Kong police on Wednesday morning, according to local media.

Confirming the news, the Democratic Party of Hong Kong said on social media that the police arrested the two at their homes respectively.

They were arrested over an incident that happened in Tuen Mun Park in 2019.

Lam was also suspected of participating in a July 21 riot last year.
