Dhaka: The deadly coronavirus has killed another 32 people within 24 hours in Bangladesh. Among the deceased were 25 men and seven women.
All of them died at the hospital. The death toll in coronavirus rose to 6,906, an official release said.
In the last 24 hours, 17,200 samples were collected and 17,074 samples were tested in 137 laboratories. The total number of sample tests stood at 28,94,622.
At the same time, 2,202 new coronavirus patients were identified. With this, the total number of coronavirus patients in the country stood at 4,81,945.
In the last 24 hours, 2,571 people, including asymptomatic patients, have recovered in different hospitals and homes across the country, including the capital. So far, a total of 4,01,194 people have recovered.
Compared to the sample test in the last 24 hours, the detection rate was 12.89 percent. So far, the detection rate is 16.65 percent, the recovery rate is 83.24 percent and the mortality rate is 1.43 percent.
