Jakarta (Indonesia), Dec 10 (ANI): Thousands of members and supporters of an Indonesian political party rallied against United States President Donald Trump’s plan to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital on Sunday in Indonesia’s Jakarta.  Calling it a violation of human rights beyond the limits of religion, members of the Prosperous Justice Party held banners against Trump's Jerusalem statement. The party's chairman Sohibul Iman urged Indonesian President Joko Widodo to lead OIC member countries in pressuring Trump to reverse his decision. The status of Jerusalem home to sites holy to the Muslim, Jewish and Christian religions is one of the biggest obstacles to reaching a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. more
