Kabul: A bomb explosion in Kabul city of Afghanistan left one person killed on Sunday, media reports said.
The incident reportedly left one policeman injured.
Capital police chief Brig. Gen. Mohammad Dawood Amin told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the Badam Bagh area of the 5th police district at 5am.
He told the Afghanistan-based news agency the district’s deputy police chief Abdul Ghafoor Hafizi was slightly wounded as a magnetic bomb attached to his vehicle went off.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
Afghanistan has witnessed several terrorisms related attacks in recent times.
