Kabul, Aug 12 (JEN): At least eight Taliban insurgents, including a key leader, were killed in an airstrike conducted by the US army in Afghanistan's Laghman province, reports said.
The raid was carried out on Wednesday night.
According to the provincial government's media office, three senior leaders were among those killed.
Two of them have been identified as Shah Jahan and Taza Gul.
The statement further added that the militants were attacked while they were moving to an unknown location.
