 Covid-19 Dhaka: Coronavirus (Covid-19) has killed 37 more people across Bangladesh in the last 24 hours. Among them 25 are men and 12 are women. All died at the hospital.
The death toll from the virus rose to 6,524 people, an official press release notified.
In the last 24 hours, 16,494 samples were collected and 17,532 samples were tested in 118 laboratories.
At this time, another 2,292 new patients with coronavirus were identified. The total number of identified patients in the country stood at 4,56,438.
Meanwhile, 2,274 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 3,71,453 people have recovered in the country.
Compared to the sample test in the last 24 hours, the patient identification rate is 13.44 percent. So far, the total sample test has an identification rate of 16.82 percent, a recovery rate of 81.38 percent and a death rate of 1.43 percent.
Among the deceased, 5,007 (76.75 percent) are males and 1,517 (23.25 percent) are females.
Of the 37 deaths in the last 24 hours, 29 were in Dhaka division, three in Chittagong, three in Rajshahi and two in Rangpur.
