State of Health Covid-19: Death toll reaches 4,859 as 36 more die within 24 hours in Bangladesh

Bangladesh first detected coronavirus on March 8 and recorded the first covid death on March 18.
Dhaka: Bangladesh has reported another 36 deaths due to covid-19, according to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The deaths were recorded in between Wednesday and Thursday, said a DGHS press release.
At least 1,593 people also tested positive for the deadly virus after authorities conducted tests on 13,673 samples.
Meanwhile, the death toll in the country touched 4,859.
The total number of positive cases also surged to 344,264.
