Karachi: Pakistan confirmed its seventh confirmed Coronvirus case on Monday.
The fresh case was reported from Karachi city in the country.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza confirmed the development and tweeted: "A patient from Karachi, tested #COVIDー19 positive today. All contacts are quarantined. This is 7th case in though 1 has already recovered & discharged & another one is ready to be discharged. If we all act responsibly we can avoid corona virus outbreak in Pakistan."

He informed that one coronavirus-hit patient recovered and was discharged from hospital.
The new case has emerged as all educational institutions in Sindh have been closed till March 13 over fears of the contagious disease’s outbreak in the province The Express Tribune reported.
The Coronavirus outbreak was first reported from China.
It has now spread to several nations across the globe.
