Los Angeles: Popular search engine Google joined the Barbie fever with the release of the movie and delighted fans with a visual feast of pink sparkles when they typed certain words like 'Barbie' and searched it.
The same is happening when netizens are typing the names of actors and director in the movie Greta Gerwig or Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
Apart from the sparks, a large portion of the screen is turning pink in colour and even some of the text and icons on the search page are becoming the same.
Barbie is a 2023 American fantasy comedy film directed by Greta Gerwig from a screenplay she wrote with Noah Baumbach.
Based on the Barbie fashion dolls by Mattel, it is the first live-action Barbie film after numerous computer-animated direct-to-video and streaming television films.

The film stars Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, who go on a journey of self-discovery following an existential crisis, alongside an ensemble cast that includes America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, Helen Mirren, and Will Ferrell.
The movie hit the silverscreen on Friday.
The movie is facing tough competition from Christopher Nolan's latest released movie Oppenheimer which was released on the same day.
