A senior politician has claimed that Pakistani authorities are playing a major role in the kidnapping and disappearance of people in Balochistan.
The region has been witnessing alleged enforced disappearance cases for years now.
The family members of the abducted people have been protesting, demanding their release, triggering tension in the region.
JUI-P leader Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman openly stated at a gathering in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that people are being illegally abducted by the Pakistani deep state, reported NDTV.
Recently, the 7th Balochistan International Conference was held at the Geneva Press Club.
The Baloch National Movement (BNM) organised a three-day series of events in Geneva during the 60th regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
