The priest of Saint John’s Church in Islamabad city has claimed that a gang armed with sophisticated weapons stormed the place of worship on Thursday.
Priest Imran Masih informed the Industrial Area police about it in his written complaint the same night, reported The News International.
In the complaint, the complainant said three among the six attackers had been identified as Sohail, Asif Chattha and Mithu.
The complainant said they were equipped with SMGs and pistols.
He said the attackers took away the sound system of the church.
Police have started an investigation into the incident.
