Kabul: At least eight people were killed as a blast rocked Kabul city of Afghanistan on Friday.
The blast, which occurred during Muharram gathering of mourning Shia Afghans, left 18 others injured.
“Such actions are the work of those who detest our country, our religion, and who do not wish for its safety and happiness,” Taliban’s senior spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid was quoted as saying by Khaama Press.
The Islamic State terror group claimed responsibility for the blast.
