Kabul: The Attorney General Office (AGO) prosecutor Tofan Umari died in an alleged terror attack in Deh Sabz districts of Kabul province on Sunday, media reports said.
AGO Spokesperson Jamshir Rasouli told Pajhwok Afghan News Umari served in Bagram Jail.
He was killed in a terrorist attack while returning from Bagram, the news agency reported.
He had once worked as a journalist with Hasht-e-Subh Newspaper.
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
