Seoul: North Korea on Tuesday fired an unidentified ballistic missile toward the East Sea on Friday,media reports said.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced the launch. It did not immediately provide other details, Yonhap news agency reported.
On Sunday, the North launched what Seoul officials called two medium-range ballistic missiles into the East Sea. It later claimed the launch was a reconnaissance satellite development effort, the news agency reported.
This year alone, North Korea launched ballistic missiles 38 times, with a total of 67 missiles fired. In addition, Pyongyang tested cruise missiles three times, reports UNI.
