Washington: Twitter's new chief Elon Musk on Tuesday said users will be charged USD 8 per month if they want a blue tick by their name.
A blue tick mark indicates a verified account.
"Twitter’s current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn’t have a blue checkmark is bullshit," he tweeted. "Power to the people! Blue for $8/month," he said.
