Beijing: A fire broke out at a chemical factory in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Monday which left at least seven people killed, media reports said.
The fire broke out at about 2:08 a.m. Monday in the Hondlon District in the city of Baotou, and was brought under control about an hour later. Seven people were missing, reports Xinhua news agency.
Rescue work finished at 6:40 a.m when all the missing persons were found dead.
Investigation into the incident is currently underway.
