Kabul: At least 36 people have died after heavy rains inundated Afghanistan's Parwan province.
The calamity left 76 others injured, said local 1TVNews quoting officials.
The incident took place on Wednesday.
According to officials, the floods destroyed 300 houses.
Local government officials and the provincial directorate of disaster management and humanitarian affairs are expected to visit the affected areas to provide assistance to the flood-hit people.
