Kabul: A car bomb blast killed a civilian and a commando in Afghanistan's Balkh province, reports said.
The incident was confirmed by Adil Shah Abir, a spokesman for Balkh police headquarters.
The blast was carried out by the Taliban, the group said.
At least three more people were injured in the blast, though a hospital said six, including children and women were wounded.
Two of the injured are said to be in a critical state.
