Kabul: Armed forces in Afghanistan killed or wounded at least 68 militants affiliated with the Taliban, during multiple raids, said reports.
According to a statement by the 209th Shaheen Corps, at least 32 militants were killed during ambushes in Balkh, Faryab and Samagan. The raids were carried out by the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) during a period of 24 hours.
The same operation also injured 36 militants.
Apart from the casualty, a large cache of ammunition and several vehicles were also destroyed.
The Taliban is yet to comment on the report.
