Kabul: At least six people were killed and as many injured after an explosion hit Afghanistan's capital city Kabul on Monday morning.
Reports said that the incident too place after a suicide bomber detonated his explosive near a religious gathering.
The toll has been confirmed by Interior Ministry spokesperson Najib Danish.
Over 2,000 religious scholars had gathered at Polytechnic University in Kabul, condemning the ongoing war in Afghanistan.
The explosion took place while they were leaving, witnesses said.
