Kabul: At least one archaeologist was killed in a roadside explosion which rocked Afghanistan's Kabul on Saturday morning, reports said.
The incident took place near Benisar area in the eastern part of Kabul city, reported local Tolo News.
Apart from the deceased, three others, including two archaeologist, were injured and moved to a hospital.
"One driver and two archaeologists were wounded and one other one was killed," Mohammad Sabir Mohmand, spokesman for the information and culture ministry said confirming the incident.
He added that the blast took place at around 7 am.
So far, no group has claimed the attack.
