Kabul: At least 24 militants have been killed in airstrikes conducted by the Afghan Air Force in the country's Faryab province, reports said on Thursday.
The slain terrorists belonged to the Taliban militant group.
The operation was carried out in the Pashtun Kot district of the province and targeted Taliban hideouts.
Additionally, at least five militants were wounded.
The Taliban has not commented on the report so far.
