State of Health Bangladesh registers 27000 deaths due to COVID-19

Dhaka: Bangladesh, the country witnessing a tough wave of the pandemic, registered 35 new deaths due to the virus, taking the tally to 27,007.
However, this was the lowest daily death due to the virus since June 7.
The COVID-19 caseload rose to 1,534,440 as 2,074 people tested positive for the disease in the 24 hours to 8 am on Tuesday, according to the latest government data, reports bdnews24.
Dhaka registered the most daily deaths and new cases among the eight divisions, logging 15 fatalities and 1,469 infections. Chattogram tallied 8 deaths and 230 cases, the news portal reported.
Bangladesh is one of the 210 nations that have registered COVID-19 outbreak.
