State of Health Bangladesh: 39 new COVID-19 deaths recorded in 24 hours

Dhaka: Bangladesh recorded 39 new deaths due to COVID-19 outbreak in Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, media reports said.
The death toll due to the disease in the country now stands at 3,861.
Besides, the country also logged more than 290,000 coronavirus cases with 2,401 people having tested positive over the same period, reports Dhaka Tribune.
The number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 290,360.
Of the 39 deceased -- 27 men and 12 women -- 23 were from Dhaka division, five from Chittagong, four from Sylhet, three from Khulna, two from Barisal and one each from Rajshahi and Mymensingh, Dhaka Tribune reported.
