Actor Giancarlo Esposito, best known for his iconic role in the TV series Breaking Bad, has reportedly embraced Islam during his stay in Saudi Arabia, according to media reports.
Several videos circulating online show the actor inside a mosque, where he is seen offering prayers, sparking widespread attention on social media.
Turki Alalshikh told the Saudi Gazette that Esposito recited the Shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith, and joined members of a production team in prayer at a mosque in Morocco.
According to Alalshikh, the actor’s decision was influenced by his positive experiences in Saudi Arabia and his interactions with members of the Muslim community while working in the Kingdom.
He also shared a video on Instagram showing Esposito praying inside the mosque, which has since gone viral.
Esposito, whose career spans several decades, has earned global recognition for his powerful performances in acclaimed productions. He rose to prominence through roles in hit series such as Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and The Boys.
