Jakarta: A fire broke out at a fuel storage station in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta which left at least 16 people dead, media reports said on Saturday.

The station is operated by Pertamina, Indonesia’s state-run energy company, reports CNN.

Video footage of the incident has gone viral on the internet.

Some nearby residents were evacuated and 52 units of firefighting force were sent to the spot to bring the flames under control.
