Kabul: At least one Taliban militant was killed and two others wounded during an attack in Afghanistan's Kabul on Monday night, reports said.
The militants sustained the blow after they attacked a security checkpost, local media quoted government officials as saying.
The checkpoint was located in Sherullah area of Khak-e-Jabar district of Kabul province, reported Tolo News.
The militants attacked from various directions, but were pushed away.
No soldiers were hurt or killed.
The Taliban is yet to comment on the report.
