Ankara (Sputnik/UNI) As many as five undocumented migrants were killed and 39 others were injured in a road accident involving a truck in Turkey's southeastern Van province, local media reported on Thursday.
According to the Hurriyet newspaper, the truck carrying migrants overturned on Van-Ercis highway. All injured were sent to hospital.
Authorities launched an investigation into the incident.
