Washington (Xinhua/UNI) There people on Tuesday were shot on campus of University of North Carolina (UNC) in Charlotte, U.S. state of North Carolina,local media reported.
A suspect has been taken into custody and the campus is on lockdown, a source told local media WSOC's Allison Latos.

UNC Charlotte's Niner Alerts tweeted earlier that shots were reported near the Kennedy Building.
