INDIVIDUAL CONSULTING FOR THE DEFINITION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN INTEGRATED INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR THE PROJECT

The Government of Mozambique, represented by the Maputo Municipal Council (MMC) has applied for financing from the World Bank, toward the cost of the Maputo Urban Transformation Project (MUTP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds to eligible payments for contracting Individual Consulting for the Definition and Implementation of an Integrated Information Management System for the Project Implementing Unit

The main tasks of Senior Technician In Spatial Planning And Urban Soil Management are:

• Develop the conceptual design of the Integrated Information Management System (SIGI),
• Install applications in Maputo Municipal Council (MMC)
• Test the operability of the PTUM Integrated Information System, and guarantee its full operation.
• Ensure on-the-job training for CMM

The Maputo Municipal Council (MMC) now invites a qualified individual consultant to indicate his interest in providing the Services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The Individual Consultants will be evaluated against the following criteria: (i) General qualifications (25 points); (ii) Minimum of 10 years of experience with project management (planning, monitoring and evaluation (35 points); (iii) Proven experience of working on World Bank projects will be an advantage (30 points) and (iv) Fluent in Portuguese and intermediate level of English (10 points).

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection (ICS) method set out in the World Bank Procurement Regulations.
