State of Health Pakistan records 1400 new COVID-19 cases

Islamabad/UNI: Pakistan on Saturday reported 1,400 fresh cases of novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours, pushing the country's caseload to 9,61,085.
In the same period, 34 people also lost their lives, soaring the death toll to 22,379.
Pakistan -- world's fifth most populous nation with nearly 22 crore people -- conducted 48,027 tests in the past one day.
According to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the country has so far conducted 1,46,85,198 tests.
There are currently 32,319 active cases of COVID-19 in the country, of which 1,871 are in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
