State of Health Pakistan registers 89 new COVID-19 deaths in 24 hours

Islamabad: Pakistan registered 89 new deaths related to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, media reports said.
It is the highest daily total since July 4 when the country reported 93 deaths, reports Dawn News.
Sindh and Punjab have both recorded 41 deaths while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reported six and Azad Jammu and Kashmir confirmed one more fatality, the Pakistani newspaper reported.
Pakistan is believed to be witnessing a second wave of the COVID-19 infection for the past couple of days.
