State of Health Global COVID-19 death toll surpasses 1 million-mark

New York: The death toll due to COVID-19 across the globe has touched 1,000,000.
There have been 33,177,416 reported cases so far in the world.
The Worldometer website, which is maintaining the figure of confirmed COVID-19 cases, said the current death toll due to the disease now stands at 1,000,208.
So far, 24,504,961 people have recovered from the highly infectious disease.
The disease is believed to have originated from China.
US remained the worst-hit nation in the world.
