American actor Timothée Chalamet has become the first man to appear solo on the print cover of British Vogue in the 106 years history of the iconic magazine.

For the first time in British Vogue’s 106-year history, this month a man is flying solo on our cover, Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful wrote.

Timothée Chalamet is a modern man incarnate, as an actor and as a person, he further wrote.

"The 26-year-old star has enjoyed a breakneck ascent to the top of Hollywood in the past five years, from an Oscar nomination for Call Me by Your Name in 2018, to box-office dominance in Dune in 2021, to his detailed, nuanced and heartbreaking performance in Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming Bones & All. If this person can make playing a teenage drifter cannibal move your soul, as you will see on cinema screens this autumn, then I figured he was certainly ready for the chameleonic journey of a Vogue cover shoot," he wrote.

Timothée Chalamet has earned attention for his style and fashion-forward red carpet looks.

At the recently held Venice Film Festival, Timothée Chalamet left his fans amused when he walked down the red carpet by wearing a sleeveless, backless, scarf-included, bright red top-and-pants.

However, it was his stylishly sported shimmering backless halter top that drew all attention.

Designed by Haider Ackermann, the actor sported the daring dress as he attended the premiere of upcoming film Bones and All.

The actor had completed the look with black boots and a brooch and rings by Cartier, People magazine reported.
