Takaful Al Sham (TAS) has been responding to the Syrian crisis since 2012 and to the Refugee Response in Turkiye since 2013. TAS works in Education, Early Recovery, Food Security, Livelihood & Empowerment, WASH, Protection, Shelter, CCCM, and Emergency Response, where TAS has implemented successfully more than 130 projects in Direct partnership with Institutional donors, UN Agencies, and INGOs such as; BHA, SCHF, UNICEF, WFP, UNDP, IOM, CARE, GOAL, Save the Children, Global Communities, World Vision, DRC, WHH, Archenova, Chemonics. Seeking to save lives and alleviate human suffering through collaborative, local, and sustainable relief and development assistance, TAS believes that empowerment of women, adolescents, youth, and those who are physically and mentally challenged engage and become proactive in their communities through socio-economic sustainability, development and durable solutions, for a brighter future.

Role Purpose:

Creating distinctive creative content for the organization’s activities and projects, publishing and managing it on the organization’s various media.platforms in a professional manner, in addition to writing various types of
video scenarios, human stories, newsletters, and other materials.

Requirements and Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop publishing plans for various platforms in accordance with the organization’s goals and vision.
2. Follow up on periodic humanitarian reports and extract content from them.
3. Manage the field content team and provide support to it remotely.
4. Writing social media content in accordance with the organization’s policy and in a way that achieves the
established plans, and the content of each platform is appropriate to its policies, algorithms, nature, and
audience, taking into account humanitarian standards.
5. Selecting, processing and preparing images of publications according to humanitarian standards.
6. Creating creative Stories and Reels suitable for each platform in a systematic and continuous manner.
7. Follow up the materials with translators until they are issued and review them after translation before
publication.
8. Coordinate with departments and programs in order to obtain accurate information and numbers and
understand projects.
9. Managing social media platforms and publishing on them in a way that suits each platform, in addition
to interacting with the audience in a distinctive way.
10. Following trends and hashtags and the ability to monetize them.
11. Creating and implementing ideas to increase the number of followers on different platforms through
marketing methods and not through paid promotion.
12. Writing creative scenarios with distinctive ideas that contain influential messages for videos of the
organization’s activities and projects and videos of human stories, and following them up with the field
content team and then with the video editor to reach the final product.
13. Managing the website and configuring it to be compatible with search engines.
14. Writing website content considering SEO.
15. Creating paid advertising campaigns on various platforms in a professional manner.
16. Creating effective media campaigns to advocate for the Syrian Crisis.
17. Creating various newsletters and sending them on specialized platforms.
18. Writing various human stories of the organization’s activities and projects.
19. Publishing job opportunities and tenders on the platforms.
20. Archiving all work files according to the system in the media department.
21. Follow up the tasks on the online platform in media department.
22. Develop and submit proposals to develop Media policies, products, and procedures.

Other duties:

1. Submit a regular monthly report to the Media coordinator.
2. Any other tasks assigned to it by the Media coordinator in Media work.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. A lot of Creative skills!
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Content Creation in non-profit organizations.
3. Advanced skill in planning for social media platforms.
4. Ability to extract content from the humanitarian reports.
5. Advanced skills in managing various social media platforms: (Facebook - X - Instagram - Youtube -
Telegram - Whatsapp - Linkedin - Bevol) including:

• Writing content for platforms that suits each platform’s environment and audience.
• Manufacturing distinctive creative Stories and Reels.
• Publication management and follow-up.
• Effective communication with the audience of each platform.
• Increase interaction on platforms through content.
• Professionally paid promotion on various platforms.
• Creating media campaigns.

6. Advanced skills in writing various scenarios for videos and stories.
7. Advanced skill in writing professional human stories.
8. Advanced skill in creating various newsletters on specialized platforms.
9. Advanced skill in creating content for infographic designs.
10. Ability to managing content of websites running WordPress.
11. Ability to write content suitable for search engines (SEO).
12. Basic skills in Adobe software, especially Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
13. Good skills in MS Office especially in Word and PowerPoint.
14. Very good computer skills.
15. Advanced planning, organizing, and team leadership skills.
16. Advanced learning skills.
17. Effective communication and representation skills (oral and written).
18. Analyzing and problem-solving skills.
19. High level of negotiation and persuasion skills.
20. The ability to work under pressure.
21. Advanced level in the Arabic language.
22. B level in English languages (At Least)
23. Turkish language is a mandatory
