Context

Impact Santé Afrique (ISA ) is a non-governmental organization based in Cameroon whose main objective is to contribute to improving the health of populations by implementing transformative and sustainable programs (for more information, visit www.impactsante .org ). As part of the “ Equity Access Palu” project funded by the Initiative over a period of 3 years ( November 6, 2023 – October 31, 2026 ), renewable. This project aims to strengthen community engagement in the fight against malaria . ISA is looking for a Project Coordinator based in Cameroon.

Responsibilities:

Under the responsibility of the executive director, he/she will ensure:

• Plan and organize the different stages of the project.
• Ensure monitoring and coordination of activities;
• Participate in the establishment of the monitoring & evaluation and accountability system;
• Ensure high quality of implementation of project activities at all levels;
• Ensure respect for gender integration at all levels;
• Ensure the review of project reports;
• Ensure the full implementation of project interventions;
• Ensure that primary and secondary objectives are achieved;
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Ministry of Public Health and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure the management of all stakeholders in the project to ensure its effectiveness;
• Prepare periodic reports and presentations on project progress:
• Ensure good communication between the different stakeholders;
• Ensure that all activities are completed on time and on budget.

Qualifications:

• Level minimum Master
• At least 5 years of experience in managing community projects.
• Experience in an advocacy role is essential.
• Ability to work in an international/multicultural environment, and with institutional organizations.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with Civil Society Organizations.
• Positive and dynamic attitude;
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize one's own work and that of others;
• Ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
• Ability to write and speak English and French fluently.
• This position requires some local travel.
