Senior Officer Private Equity Impact Funds (m/f/d)

The Luxembourg Private Equity Key Account Team serves as the key account team for all Finance in Motion impact equity strategies such as forestry, fund of funds or renewables, and reviews investments proposals with a view to submitting these to the Luxembourg-based AIFM investment committee(s) for equity funds. The role requires a holistic understanding of investment processes and equity transactions, including portfolio management, risk management, fund management and administration, financial reporting, transfer agency and investor management tasks. In addition, the Luxembourg Key Account Team is the key service unit for Finance in Motion’s management and processing of equity funds and their investments, providing, amongst others, the relationship management with the equity investment teams, the depository, the fund administrator and other service providers as well as being the central touchpoint for the management of ancillary services from Finance in Motion, GmbH.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Key Account Managers in managing the relationship with the Equity Team and its advisors to work on acquisitions, disposals and restructuring of investments.
• Support the Key Account Manager in managing the relationship with third parties (e.g., depository, fund administrator) and internally for company/fund set up, liquidation, company secretarial and compliance topics.
• Support in the performance of the liquidity management tasks and budget monitoring of the Funds under management, in collaboration with the Funds’ service providers.
• Support in the preparation of equity fund operating memorandums, in close cooperation with third parties.
• Support in the preparation of investment committee and board meetings.
• Support in risk management monitoring and reporting, in close contact with the funds’ service providers.
• Coordination and oversight of regulatory reporting.
• Train and coach junior team members.
• Promote Finance in Motion in Luxembourg by upholding and maintaining valuable network.

What we expect

• University degree in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, or any other related field)
• 6-8 years of experience in the Luxembourg Fund Industry and of asset management, incl. investment processes, portfolio management, risk management, fund administration and management of service provider relationships
• Knowledge and proven experience in Equity Fund Administration
• Experience of management of impact funds an advantage
• Demonstrate commitment to producing high quality work and to timeframes required
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Team player
• Luxembourg resident or cross-border resident
