ACTED France (HQ)

ACTED's headquarters moved to Paris in 2000 with the aim of coordinating the organization's interventions on a global scale. Today the head office is made up of 110 people in the HR, Finance, Programs, Audit, Security, Logistics & Systems and Communication departments. These departments provide support to the 42 Country Departments. The headquarters also acts as a focal point for ACTED's Management, namely the Managing Director, the Development Director and the fifteen members of the Board of Directors.

Main role and responsibilities

The Grants Management Officer first of all monitors the reporting activity (preparation of project proposals, reports to donors, donor relations, contractual monitoring and internal communication) in certain specific areas of the project. intervention of ACTED, defined beforehand.

In liaison with the field reporting officers, he/she must maintain a deep knowledge of the strategies, activities and opportunities of donors and other stakeholders in the countries, as well as compliance with existing reporting procedures and mechanisms.

Then, he/she is responsible for specifically supporting the countries for which he/she is responsible, paying particular attention to countries/projects encountering particular difficulties, in conjunction with the Head of Subsidies Management at headquarters and The direction. In this sense, he/she has an obligation to alert and report problems.

Finally, he/she contributes to contractual monitoring (particularly partnerships) in conjunction with the Head of Subsidies Management at headquarters and the finance department.

The Grants Management Officer works under the direct supervision of the Head of Headquarters Grants Management.

Qualifications and skills required

• Knowledge / interest in the sector and themes of sustainable development and the Social Solidarity Economy
• Masters level training in a relevant field such as international relations, development, political science or law
• Previous work experience in a related field, with knowledge of project design, proposal writing and grant management
• Knowledge of sustainable development issues and ability to understand donor and partner systems
• Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English (bilingual candidates appreciated)
• Analytical skills
• Coordination and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and at a fast pace

• Net monthly salary: 2100 – 2300 euros
