What does it entail?
Role description

• Develop project design, work plan, proposals, reports and modification requests
• Draft, review and provide support in the negotiation of programs and project agreements, including sub-agreements with partners and memoranda of understanding;
• Develop and update internal programme drafts on each programme and donor specific commitments, including reporting requirements, donor compliance, and targets per activity
• Establish and maintain proper recording and documentation on grant application, amendments and extension requests
• Monitor and oversee project cycle management, strategy and implementation
• Adhere to donor specific communication guideline and requirements
• Facilitate interdepartmental training, advice and consultation on donor specific regulations.
• Develop grant program specific training materials on the different thematic areas of focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, International Development, social sciences or related field in alignment with the Child development sector.
• Minimum of (3) experience in program, proposal and grant development, reporting, documentation and management in NGO related projects required.
• Experience in contractual aspects of grant management will be an advantage
• Ability to work and deliver with minimum or no supervision
• Possess an analytical mind-set and high attention to detail.
• Must be self-driven, proactive and a team player
• Strong English writing, speaking and facilitation skills required
