We are looking for an engaged Procurement Officer/Manager who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.

The Scope

We are looking for you if...

… you like to procure complex third party services such as consulting and marketing services.

...you want to both operationally work in procurement but also conceptionally improve and refine procurement processes and policies?

As a member of our procurement team, you will be part of the Organizational Effectiveness Unit which is tasked with creating tools, systems and processes that take our organizational effectiveness and efficiency to a new level as we continue to grow while implementing our ambitious Global Strategy.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

• To serve as first contact for colleagues regarding general questions and inquiries related to the procurement function, its role, and responsibilities.
• To respond to requests from all FSC units and teams for consulting and professional services.
• To conduct RFQ (request for quotation) and RFP (request for proposal) processes for consulting and professional services including negotiation, contract award and framework agreement development.
• To review and approve relevant sections of consulting contracts in the DocuSign system.
• To support with the development and improvement of the procurement policy, procedure, and associated documentation.
• To answer questions concerning the proper implementation of the applicable procurement policies and procedures.
• Additional Tasks as agreed with the formal supervisor

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education and Training:

Relevant training or experience in procurement or a university degree in business administration or procurement.

Working Experience, Style, and Skills:

• 2-5 years of professional experience in working with procurement/ third party services management.
• Project management experience.
• Good time management and multi project management skills: Solution and service oriented attitude to work.
• Experience with financial administration/management.
• A strong sense for diligence and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and structural skills.
• Bonus: previous experience and capabilities in procurement policy development.

Languages:

• Fluency in English (spoken and written),
• second language a bonus,
• German is not required.

Communication Skills:

• Inclusive communicator, capable of building sound professional relationships around the world.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills that contribute to cohesive team efforts and decision making.

Terms and Conditions

• Location: Bonn, Germany.
• Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week (part time of 70% or more could be considered).
• Duration of Employment: Temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible)
• Starting Date: as soon as possible.
• Travel: No travel is required.
