JOB TITLE: Senior Data Analyst

JOB GRADE TITLE: Deputy Manager

REPORTING TO: Senior Biostatistician

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time Contractual (Close-ended)

LOCATION: Karachi

JOB PURPOSE

The incumbent will be responsible for real-time big data analysis to achieve deliverables. He or She will also be involved in the publication of scientific manuscripts through data analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Managing the cleaning, organization and analysis of complex, dynamic BIG data from multiple sources including electronic immunization registries, paper-based and android-based surveys.
2. Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports through advanced coding and analytical skills.
3. Carrying out extensive data analysis to propose evidence-based solutions
4. Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
5. Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
6. Filtering and “cleaning” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to identify and rectify data-related complexities
7. Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities
8. Reconciling data (internally and with partners/donors)
9. Ensuring privacy and security of all data handled
10 Streamlining the Program’s data handling and management

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

Required Qualification

• Master's and above in Statistics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics or Economics

Required Experience

• 3 years and above

Required Skills

• Excellent Quantitative analytical skills
• Good manuscript writing skills for publications.
• Proficient in STATA or SPSS or SAS or R. Must have some experience of coding in any of the mentioned softwares.
