Position

The World Trade Center Institute (WTCI) has an opening for the Senior Program Manager of the Emerging and Developing Global Executives (EDGE) Program, Bowe Fellowship. The mission of EDGE is to cultivate a group of emerging global executives in the Baltimore-DC region, called “Bowe Fellows,” who will enhance their careers, and contribute to greater success and growth for the region’s international businesses. Currently only in Maryland, the Senior Program Manager will work closely with the senior leadership team to strategically expand EDGE into the DC metropolitan area. The position will also coordinate and cultivate the EDGE Alumni Network. The role is integral to the growth strategy and success of the organization. The individual will work closely with and report to the Vice President of Programs and Fellowships. WTCI operates on a four-day workweek (Monday through Thursday) and the work environment will be hybrid when the office re-opens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage front-to-back of EDGE Program and EDGE Alumni Network including curriculum development, Fellow, speaker, company and sponsor recruitment, budget, and deadlines.
• Lead EDGE Advisory Board designed to assist program in achieving vision of being the premiere professional development program on the East coast.
• Drive EDGE program’s growth plans, creating and implementing strategies for revenue, recruitment, and expansion into new markets.
• In partnership with the Vice President of Programs and Fellowships, set annual program budgets, strategies, plans and goals.
• Maintain program data systems, including Salesforce, and track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Review processes and identify new efficiencies to support program effectiveness.
• Identify synergies between EDGE and other WTCI programs.
• Identify opportunities for donor investment and work to secure sponsorships.
• Assist Senior Manager of Events in logistics planning including catering, establishing agendas, and décor.
• Support other program managers within the organization when necessary.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in program management or event planning.
• Experience working with and building relationships with community leaders, executives, government, and academic leaders.
• Ability to create and drive program curriculum.
• Drive smart, outcomes-based change and innovation.
• Superb communications skills over e-mail, phone and in-person are essential, as well as strong customer service instincts.
• Strong experience creating and presenting information via spreadsheets and presentations.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities accordingly.
• Ability to multitask and juggle several assignments at once
• Attention to detail.
• Highly reliable and personable.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Asana, and other programs as needed is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience with a track record of effective program or event management and accomplishments; completion?of advanced degree preferred.
