State of Health Swine flu toll reaches 585 in India

New Delhi, Feb 17 (JEN): With reports of as many as 100 fresh deaths due to the H1N1 virus across India in past three days, the total swine flu toll climbed to at least 585 this year, media reports said
Fresh date said on Tuesday that 100 more people succumbed to the H1N1 virus in the three days till February 15 taking the toll to 585.
It also mentioned that a total 8,423 people were contracted swine flu this year in India.
State like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra are the worst-hits regions with their respective tolls standing at 165, 144, 76 and 58, reports said.
