State of Health Pakistan records highest single-day COVID-19 deaths

Islamabad: Pakistan recorded the highest single-day deaths due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours which stood at 114, media reports said.
This is the sixth time in a row that the number of deaths from the virus crossed the 100 mark in a single day, reports Geo News.
As per data from the NCOC, 5,050 people contracted the virus on Saturday after 46,066 tests in total were conducted, reports the newspaper.
Pakistan has been witnessing a rise in COVID-19 cases for the past few months.
