Environment/Science Second rhino killed in Kaziranga in less than 48 hours

Guwahati Jan 27 (JEN) Two rhinos have been found dead in the Kaziranga National Park in Assam in a span of less than 48 hours, reports said.
So far this year, three rhinos have been poached.
Forest guards found a rhino carcass on Wednesday morning. Its horn is missing.
Kaziranga is the habitat of one-horned rhinos. Last year, 17 rhinos were killed in the park. According to a census carried out in 2013, the number of the species in India is 2,329.
