Environment/Science Crocodile spotted on Goa's popular beach

Panaji, Jul 16 (JEN) In a rare finding that will shock tourists in Goa a crocodile has been spotted on the popular Morjim beach.
The image of the reptile walking on the shorelines was captured by one Nilesh Bagkar who posted it on a social networking website.
Media reports quoted Deputy conservator of Forest DNF Carvalo as having confirmed that the crocodile was seen on the beach.
"The aquatic reptile must have arrived from nearby Chapora river and not the Arabian Sea. It must have walked to the beach from Chapora river," he said.
Morjim beach, 30 kms away from Panaji, is one of the famous beaches in the state,frequented by foreigners, especially Russians.
