Canberra: The Prime Minister of Australia, Scott Morrison, has said he would like to make Covid-19 vaccines mandatory for all Australian nationals.

The country has signed an agreement with Anglo-Swedish company AstraZeneca to manufacture the potential coronavirus vaccine that has been developed by Oxford University.

Praising the vaccine, Morrison said it is one of the most advanced in the world and wanted to make it mandatory for all Australian citizens, unless the individual has been directed otherwise by health experts.

Australia is expected to make the vaccine free for its citizens however, it might not be available until next year.
