• Translate of reports and documents from English to Dari.
• Translate a detailed assessment report from English to Dari.
• Translate letters, and other project related documents between English and Dari.
• Incorporate feedback on translations to ensure high quality and accurate translation of documents related to the project.
• Provide simultaneous interpretation between Dari and English in meetings.

Ideal Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in law; Dari, Pashto, English language, or literature; journalism; gender studies; or a related field. Advanced university degree (masters or equivalent) in related field would be preferred.
• Experience working in the Afghan legal sector would be an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical documents.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality interpretation services.
• Knowledge of Afghan legal concepts, terminology and language.
SKILLS
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, flexibility and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Proven ability to see through tasks set and deliver results.
• Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with extensive experience drafting and editing documents in English and Dari or Pashto, depending on the requirements of the position.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
